Business Intelligence Analyst

In this role you will develop and govern Metron's BI ecosystem, delivering transparent reporting and actionable insights across finance, HR, operations, and business development. You will transform data into interactive dashboards and metrics that guide decision-making and risk management. You will work with cross-functional teams to refine data models, reporting processes, and data-driven improvements. • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and scorecards in Power BI, Excel, and AI-based analytics tools
• Translate complex data into clear, interactive visuals and actionable insights for leaders
• Analyze trends to identify drivers of performance and support data-informed decisions
• Curate the report catalog, retire legacy reports, and document reporting processes for consistency
• Identify inefficiencies in reporting and business workflows and propose data-driven improvements
• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across finance, HR, operations, and business development
• Partner with business and technical teams to design, implement, and roll out data-driven process improvements
• Support data integration from enterprise systems using APIs, databases, and other data-access methods
• Build and maintain data models, reporting datasets, and analytics frameworks for scalable reporting
• Contribute to the design and evolution of enterprise data storage, reporting structures, and BI capabilities
• Partner with program managers, directors, and executives to define KPI reporting and evolving needs
• Document reporting logic, data definitions, and business requirements to improve maintainability
• Share knowledge to help end users understand tools, reports, and data resources

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
• 3+ years in business intelligence, analytics, or business operations
• 2+ years developing analytic reports using Power BI, IBM COGNOS, or similar BI platform
• Experience analyzing financial, operational, or business performance data and presenting results clearly
• Working knowledge of data structures, relational databases, APIs, and enterprise system integration
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into reporting solutions and support implementation
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build cross-team relationships
• US citizenship with ability to obtain a US Government SECRET clearance
