Senior Financial Analyst, AWS Capacity Finance Team

In this role you will partner with AWS Services finance and business teams to provide actionable financial insights for capacity planning and capex decisions. You will own the Services capex narrative and month-end processes, driving automation and simpler planning across 200+ service units. You'll translate data into strategic recommendations for senior leadership, influencing investments and efficiency across the Services portfolio. This high-visibility role offers opportunities to shape how AWS scales its capacity and accelerates financial performance. You will work with cross-functional partners to deliver timely, accurate analyses that support executive decision making.

• Serve as the primary finance partner for Services capex across 200+ AWS Service unit teams
• Own the AWS Server capex narrative and communicate the overall AWS story to business and finance leadership
• Manage critical capex and capacity processes including monthly/quarterly reviews and planning cycles (short- and long-term)
• Innovate and simplify planning and reporting processes across the AWS Service finance teams
• Proactively coordinate and communicate deliverables across multiple finance teams to handle complex interdependencies

• 3+ years of experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (or equivalent quantitative experience)
• Advanced SQL experience for data mining and business intelligence
• 3+ years contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data to support business strategy
