Sr. Finance Manager, ASG III (Onsite)

In this role you will support the Director by delivering financial and operational analysis across departments within a complex academic medical center. You will manage multiple activities with limited supervision, helping shape budgeting, reporting, and financial planning. You'll build and lead a finance team, drive standardized processes, and partner with clinical leaders to support department goals. • Lead financial operations across multiple departments with consistent controls and reporting
• Perform budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting across diverse funding sources
• Develop and coach finance staff, establishing clear accountability and performance expectations
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardize financial practices
• Collaborate with clinical leaders to evaluate the financial impact of operational decisions
• Provide actionable financial analysis to support leadership decision-making

• Bachelor in Finance or Accounting
• at least 7 years of relevant financial management experience
• experience in a large academic medical center or multi-department environment
• working knowledge of clinical operations, physician practice, faculty productivity, revenue cycle, and their financial linkages
• experience managing budgets and funding sources including sponsored research, foundations, and restricted accounts
• demonstrated staff leadership and development experience
• ability to lead process improvements and develop reporting for accountability
