Business Banking Govcon Relationship Manager

In this role you drive new business development and manage a portfolio of small business relationships within the bank's Business Banking team. You collaborate with branch partners to maximize sales and cross-sell bank services, while evaluating credit requests and managing risk. You will work with a network of centers of influence to expand the client base and service existing clients to meet growth targets. This position offers impact across lending, deposits, and cash management products, contributing to the bank's growth objectives in Falls Church, VA.

• Develop new banking relationships with business prospects
• Service existing business banking clients
• Achieve sales goals and defined revenue/production targets
• Collaborate with branch partners to maximize sales and cross-sell products
• Network with accountants, attorneys, and referral sources
• Evaluate credit information and recommend loan structures
• Negotiate with underwriters and clients to balance revenue and risk
• Oversee a portfolio of loan relationships and client base
• Participate in business banking and retail sales sprints
• Meet call targets and sales goals for cash management and other products
• Engage in civic and cultural organizations as part of outreach

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years related sales/banking experience
• Ability to read and analyze financial statements and tax returns
• Sound credit skills for loan evaluation
• Knowledge of Cash Management, Merchant Service, Trade Services products
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Proficiency with PCs and department software
