Mechanical Assembler

• Pay Rate: $20.00–$23.00/hr.
• Location: Plano, TX 75074
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:40 PM
• Must be flexible for overtime and occasional Saturdays
• Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Required Tools:
Candidates must have their own wrenches, cordless drill, socket set, and ratchet set.

Normal hours are 6:00 AM – 2:40 PM (8-hour shift), but shifts may extend to 4:40 PM (10 hours) or 6:40 PM (12 hours) depending on production needs.

Position Summary

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling industrial machines and equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience using hand and power tools, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble machines and equipment according to engineering specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings
• Use hand and power tools daily to complete mechanical assemblies
• Make modifications and adjustments as directed by management or engineering
• Install and build new products and machine components
• Operate lifts and move materials up to 50 lbs as needed
• Assist other departments with equipment assembly and production support
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Experience assembling machinery or mechanical equipment
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift

Preferred Experience

• Blueprint and schematic reading
• Manufacturing or industrial assembly experience
• Experience working with mechanical systems and equipment
