Service Dispatcher

We are seeking a Service Dispatcher to coordinate plumbing and HVAC service operations in Northeast San Antonio. This role schedules service and preventive maintenance, dispatches work orders, coordinates technician routes, and supports multiple department leads while reporting to the Service Manager. Success is measured by customer satisfaction and effective technician utilization. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Plumbing and/or air conditioning knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Schedule routine same-day calls, emergency calls, and preventive maintenance routes.
• Dispatch plumbing and HVAC work orders to service technicians.
• Coordinate technician schedules, routes, and schedule updates.
• Communicate with customers and provide professional phone support.
• Track work orders and maintain accurate service records.
• Perform data entry and update scheduling and work order systems.
• Collaborate with the Service Manager and multiple department leads.
• Support customer satisfaction and technician utilization goals.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in service dispatching.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with scheduling software and work order management.
• Knowledge of dispatch coordination and customer relationship management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Strong telephone etiquette and customer communication skills.
• Problem-solving ability and keen attention to detail.
