SEO & Digital Marketing Manager

We are a licensed general contractor, roofing contractor, and impact window/door installer serving Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, Martin, and St. Lucie counties. We are hiring one person to own our entire local search presence and take us to the top of Google for roofing and impact window searches across South Florida.

This is not a social media job. This is not a "digital marketing generalist" job. This is not a job for someone who has managed campaigns "as part of a team" at an agency and can't show what they personally moved. If you have not put a home-services or contractor business into the Google Map Pack and held it there, you are not a fit and we will both waste time.

What you will own:

• Google Business Profile strategy, optimization, posting, and Q&A across a five-county service area from a single location
• Reputation recovery and review generation: BBB, Yelp, Google — including building a review system our field crews run from their phones
• Displacing negative branded autosuggest results
• Full keyword strategy for roofing, roof repair, storm/insurance, impact windows, and impact doors, mapped to a city/service page architecture
• Writing and building city and service landing pages on Wix that rank without reading as doorway pages
• Schema markup, technical SEO, site speed, and conversion optimization for a phone-call-driven business
• Citation cleanup and NAP consistency across every directory that matters
• Link and authority building: manufacturer certification listings, supplier dealer locators, FRSA and local associations, HOA/property-manager directories, local press
• Measurement stack: GA4, Search Console, call tracking with dynamic number insertion, zip-code-level rank tracking, review monitoring
• Weekly reporting on leading indicators and monthly reporting on calls, leads, and revenue attributed to search
• Support for Google Ads (LSA and Search) where organic and paid overlap

Hard requirements — do not apply without all of these:

• 3+ years running local SEO where you were personally accountable for rankings and lead volume
• At least one home-services, contractor, or trades client/employer you took into the top 3 Map Pack in a competitive metro, and you can show it
• Hands-on experience with Google Business Profile at an advanced level, including category strategy, service-area configuration, and suspension avoidance
• Experience repairing a damaged online reputation (low ratings, negative autosuggest, review disputes)
• Ability to write ranking-quality landing page copy yourself — not outsource it, not prompt it and paste
• Working knowledge of schema, GA4, Search Console, and at least one rank tracker and one call-tracking platform
• Comfortable working directly with an owner and field crews, not a marketing department

Strongly preferred:

• South Florida market experience, especially roofing or hurricane-protection products
• Familiarity with Florida-specific search drivers: hurricane season, Miami-Dade NOAs, wind mitigation, insurance claim cycles, My Safe Florida Home
• Wix experience, or a defensible opinion on when to migrate off it
• Bilingual English/Spanish

How you'll be evaluated:

• Your application must include a link to at least one business you personally ranked and a one-paragraph explanation of what you did and what happened to their lead volume
• Finalists will complete a paid 3-hour audit of our current presence and present a 90-day plan. We are hiring the person whose plan we would actually execute.
