Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop custom industrial machinery and automation systems. Working with a multidisciplinary project team, this position supports equipment from concept and design through manufacturing, installation, and customer acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

· Design equipment and mechanical assemblies to established engineering and drafting standards.

· Develop new mechanisms, machine designs, and improvements to existing equipment.

· Integrate ancillary components and equipment into complete systems.

· Coordinate with controls, manufacturing, assembly, and project teams to ensure buildable designs.

· Execute engineering work within approved scope, budgets, schedules, and quality plans.

· Identify design issues and implement practical corrective actions.

· Provide mechanical design direction during equipment fabrication, installation, and startup.

· Travel to customer or vendor sites for field support, training, or commissioning when needed.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

· At least 3 years of mechanical engineering experience in a design-build manufacturing environment.

· Experience designing industrial machinery and producing engineering drawings.

· Familiarity with mechanical design, drafting, and product lifecycle software.

· Strong technical communication, analytical skills, and collaborative project execution.

· Ability to travel approximately 10–20% and maintain appropriate travel documents.

Preferred Qualifications

· Project management experience.

· Experience with custom automation, machinery startup, and field troubleshooting.

· Advanced education or training in engineering, leadership, or project management.
