SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant - Utilities

In this role you drive SAP S/4HANA Finance transformations for CFOs and controllers, translating finance priorities into scalable SAP solutions. You collaborate across business, technology, testing, training and offshore teams to deliver end-to-end finance configurations and data-driven insights. You design, configure and test finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Product Costing) and support cutover, hypercare and governance. You apply GenAI and AI-driven capabilities to improve close, controls and reporting. You'll contribute to client roadmaps, share best practices, and mentor junior staff while traveling as needed.

• Engage finance stakeholders to capture current-state pain points and translate into SAP S/4HANA Finance requirements
• Design and configure end-to-end Finance solutions across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Product Costing using SAP S/4HANA and related tools
• Analyze finance process data and cleanse legacy data to inform design and validate cutover readiness
• Coordinate system testing (unit, SIT, UAT), manage defects, and oversee cutover activities and hypercare for SAP Finance releases
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams in a Global Delivery model
• Coach analysts and junior team members and contribute to internal assets and best practices
• Contribute to business cases, roadmaps, and client presentations that articulate the value of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions
• Travel may be required (0-100%) depending on business needs and client requirements

• Minimum 3 years of functional SAP Finance experience (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Product Costing)
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with SAP Asset Accounting / Fixed Assets, capitalization and depreciation
• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA or SAP Finance implementations in delivery role
• Minimum 3 years of finance transformation consulting experience
• Minimum 1 year experience serving utilities sector or equivalent utilities finance/controllership
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience)
