Finance General Accounting Fiduciary

In this role you will support local statutory accounting and IFRS compliance, working with cross-functional finance teams to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. You will oversee parts of the month-end close and prepare local year-end statements, while engaging with local business units and external auditors. You will drive process quality, policy implementation, and compliance with IFRS and local regulations. This is a hands-on role at a global energy company with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.

• Oversee assigned activities in the month-end close for financial accounting
• Compile local IFRS books in line with global IFRS requirements
• Prepare and review local year-end financial statements
• Respond to internal and external inquiries, including auditors
• Review reconciliation activities and ensure policy compliance
• Collaborate with Local BU Controllers and stakeholders to improve reporting quality and transparency
• Support compliance with accounting policies and statutory requirements
• Partner with finance departments and project managers across the organization
• Drive process improvements in financial reporting and disclosures
• Manage escalated issues and provide customer-facing support

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business
• Locally Certified Public Accountant
• 3-5 years of experience in local statutory bookkeeping and reporting
• Experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 audit firm is beneficial
• Fluent in English
• Strong knowledge of local finance ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong collaboration, communication, and analytical skills
