Sr. Director, Finance Business Partner - Technology

As Senior Director, Finance Business Partner - Technology, you will be the primary Finance partner to the CITO and Technology Leadership Team, guiding planning, investment governance, and cost optimization. You'll lead budgeting and long-range planning for the Technology organization and shape the financial perspective on tech initiatives, including AI, cloud, and cybersecurity. You'll drive value realization through the AI Value Office and ensure technology investments align with Brown & Brown's strategic goals. This role blends financial acumen with tech curiosity to enable informed, business-driven decisions.

• Serve as primary Finance Partner to the CITO and Technology Leadership Team in strategic planning, operating reviews, and investment governance
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for Technology aligned with corporate objectives
• Advise IT leadership on forecasts, budgets, cost containment, and financial treatments of tech decisions
• Lead the AI Value Office: develop business case standards, investment reviews, benefits tracking, KPI dashboards, and value reports
• Provide financial guidance on technology investments, transformation programs, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, and platform modernization
• Partner with Technology leadership to evaluate and govern investment portfolios with clear financial analysis and risk assessments
• Maintain transparency of Technology spending across labor, software, cloud, data platforms, and strategic initiatives
• Manage cost allocation across Technology functions for fair distribution to business units
• Support cloud and AI financial governance via FinOps, consumption analytics, forecasting, and value tracking
• Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Accounting, and Technology leaders to manage major vendor relationships and contracts

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or related field; or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in progressive Finance leadership with executive stakeholder partnership
• Expertise in financial planning and analysis, investment governance, and value realization
• Experience with technology finance, cloud economics, FinOps, vendor management, and technology portfolio governance
• Strong executive presence, ability to influence senior leaders, and translate complex tech financials for business impact
