Sr Director - Business Development and Strategy - AI Connect

In this role, you will steer the AI Connect program's strategy and high-growth BD efforts, aligning with enterprise goals and driving large-scale infrastructure initiatives. You'll lead cross-functional efforts across legal, sourcing, real estate, regulatory, and product to mature the organization from build to scale. Expect to define new growth opportunities via next-gen AI strategies and close partnerships that generate substantial revenue. You will shape the program's commercial viability and ensure timely execution with a focus on impact and transformation.

• Define and execute the AI Connect program strategy and BD initiatives to align with enterprise goals
• Drive market development for core infrastructure plays (Edge Data Centers, Dark Fiber, Wave, Adaptive Network Fabrics)
• Lead organizational maturity benchmarking and annual planning to scale with complexity
• Direct next-generation AI and agentic strategy innovation to identify growth opportunities
• Manage Play 1 GTM partnerships delivering up to $200M run rate revenue
• Lead supply chain de-risking efforts
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Sourcing, Real Estate, Regulatory, and Product
• Implement OKR frameworks to track milestones and outcomes
• Oversee resource planning for 250 personnel across phased evolution (Build to Scale/Optimization)

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Executive-level experience in BD, corporate strategy, finance, and operations in high-tech or telecommunications
• Strong background in strategic program management, governance, and leading large-scale initiatives
• Growth mindset with ability to scale organizational capabilities with business complexity
• Cross-functional leadership and ability to influence multi-disciplinary teams
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
• 50%+ travel; flexible work location across US, with preference for NJ/NY area
• Hybrid work model with a minimum in-office presence three days per week
