Commercial Real Estate Finance Associate

In this role you will contribute to Dechert's premier global finance practice by working on commercial real estate loan transactions. You will join a team focused on capital markets activity, including loan origination, securitization, and related matters, to support clients across complex deals. You will be part of deal teams, taking ownership of key steps from due diligence through closing, and collaborating with cross-functional professionals. This is an opportunity to advance in a high profile CRE finance practice within a leading firm and shape large-scale financings.

• Act as a hands-on member of deal teams for commercial real estate loans and mezzanine loans
• Lead or co-lead key aspects of transactions from due diligence to closing
• Support activities across loan origination, acquisition, disposition, securitization, and related matters
• Assist with rating agency representations, servicing, workouts/restructuring and bankruptcy matters as part of capital markets deals
• Work within a large law firm environment and engage with cross-functional internal teams

• Experience as an associate (class of ) with commercial real estate finance background
• Strong involvement in deal execution from due diligence through closing
• Preference for large law firm experience
• Knowledge in loan origination, securitization, and workouts/restructuring
• Experience with mezzanine loans is a plus
