Investment Banking Analyst Business Services

As a Financial Analyst in the Business Services Group, you support investment banking engagements and business development across M&A, capital advisory, and valuation work. You will work on financial analysis, valuations, due diligence, and the creation of confidential memoranda and client presentations. The role involves building and maintaining client and advisor relationships and assisting in marketing and planning engagements. You operate in a collegial, entrepreneurial environment that values ownership, collaboration, and the generation of new ideas, with a clear impact on deal execution and client outcomes.

• Prepare, analyze, and explain historical and projected financial information
• Perform valuations of companies and businesses
• Coordinate and perform business due diligence and execute M&A transactions
• Prepare confidential memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other presentations
• Assist in the marketing and planning of engagements
• Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients, and professional advisors

• At least one year of investment banking experience
• Coursework in accounting and finance
• Strong analytical capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and application
• Strong financial and computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
