Director, International Business Transformation & Strategy Execution (flexible location)

In this Director role, you will lead a strategic transformation for ABB's NEMA International division, shaping a scalable international platform and aligning Regions, Business Lines, and functions. You'll drive the Stabilize-Optimize-Scale roadmap, remove growth blockers, and ensure governance across a global matrix. You'll influence at the executive level to deliver measurable outcomes and enable profitable international growth. • Own and drive the NEMA International transformation roadmap with clear milestones, outcomes, and risk visibility
• Act as senior integrator between NEMA International and Global Business Lines, establishing governance and cross-functional commitments
• Lead resolution of systemic barriers at interfaces among International Sales, Global Operations, IT, Finance, HR and other functions
• Custodian of the NEMA International target operating model, evolving governance, processes, technology, and capabilities
• Lead an executive-level International Transformation Office managing portfolio, governance cadence, dependencies and risk escalation
• Lead adoption of the new international organization and ways of working through change leadership and capability building
• Establish continuous improvement linking frontline issues to structural business improvements

• 10+ years in business transformation, strategy execution, operating-model design, commercial excellence, or related leadership roles
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Strategy, Operations, Information Systems or related discipline
• Experience in internal strategy or transformation roles and in leading cross-functional, multi-geography changes
• Proven ability to align senior stakeholders and functions behind a shared agenda without direct authority
• Experience translating strategy into executable roadmaps, governance, and measurable outcomes
• Strong business acumen tying transformation to customer value, growth, and profitability
• Excellent executive communication, facilitation and synthesis skills
• Ability to challenge established practices and navigate ambiguity with pace
• Familiarity with international commercial models, CRM/ERP environments, and end-to-end customer processes
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing/B2B tech environments is a plus
• Transformation, Lean, Six Sigma or program-management certification is advantageous
