Senior Manager, Finance Managed Services - Controllership & Record-to-Report Life Sciences & Healthcare Industry

In this Senior Manager role within Deloitte's Finance Operate practice, you will lead the growth and delivery of Controllership / Record-to-Report managed services for Life Sciences & Health Care clients. You will shape solutions, guide senior leaders, and ensure smooth mobilization and ongoing delivery across complex engagements. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive modernization, standardization, and automation of finance operations. This is a client-facing, leadership-heavy role with a clear impact on account growth and service quality. You will work where industry experience, technical capability, and executive presence converge to deliver scalable finance solutions.

• Lead and shape Controllership / Record-to-Report managed services opportunities in Life Sciences & Health Care
• Drive business development activities, proposals, client presentations, and RFP responses for Finance Operate opportunities
• Provide senior leadership for deal flow, pipeline visibility, qualification, and handoff to mobilization and delivery
• Partner with Deloitte leaders to develop differentiated client solutions, operating models, and value propositions
• Oversee engagement mobilization and delivery governance, transition planning, service management, and quality control
• Act as trusted advisor to CFOs and finance leaders on modernizing controllership and R2R transformations
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and technology enablement across finance operations
• Lead, coach, and develop teams; contribute to knowledge sharing and growth of Finance Operate
• Contribute to account development and market development within the offering

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 12+ years in accounting, financial reporting, controllership, R2R operations, or related finance leadership
• 8+ years in managed services, shared services, outsourced delivery, or related operating models
• 6+ years in Life Sciences & Health Care industry or with Life Sciences & Health Care clients
• Experience leading or contributing to solutioning, sales pursuits, transition, mobilization, or delivery for finance managed services
• Experience leading client-facing workstreams, complex projects, or cross-functional teams
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders and executive presence
• Ability to travel 50%
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
