Senior Manager, Finance and Accounting Advisory Services

In Armanino's CFO Advisory, you help clients scale for growth by applying US GAAP and SEC expertise, leading advisory projects, and enhancing financial close and reporting processes. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial reporting and policy design. This fast-paced role combines technical accounting with client advisory to enable strategic growth. You will mentor staff and collaborate with auditors to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance. • Provide FP&A support including forecasting, budgeting, and pro-forma financials
• Deliver technical accounting guidance for US GAAP and SEC requirements, including research and documentation
• Prepare external financial reports (10-K/10-Q/8-Ks, proxy statements) and coordinate submission
• Design and implement new accounting policies and procedures
• Improve monthly/quarterly close processes and efficiency
• Act as liaison with external auditors and internal decision-makers for audit readiness
• Assist with cash-to-accrual accounting, Opening Balance Sheet, and purchase accounting
• Lead and manage projects with direct client coordination
• Build proactive relationships with clients and cross-functional teams
• Supervise and mentor staff with performance feedback and training

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 7 years' experience in a public accounting firm and operational accounting role
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Deep US GAAP knowledge (ASC 606, leases, purchase accounting); IFRS knowledge a plus
• Exceptional writing, communication, interpersonal, presentation, organizational, analytical, decision-making and research skills
