Business Development Manager - Switchgear

As Manager - Business Development, you drive growth by researching and shaping new business opportunities and strategic plans. You will work to expand markets, broaden product lines, and strengthen customer satisfaction in support of Wesco's growth mission. You'll analyze performance, propose improvements, and help strengthen Wesco's competitive position through partnerships, acquisitions, and new ventures. • Identifies and develops new business opportunities to grow profitability
• Retains and expands existing relationships and product lines while pursuing new customers and suppliers
• Oversees research activities to spot new markets and increase market share
• Establishes relationships with customers and suppliers and facilitates meetings with Wesco representatives
• Leads account development programs, including discovery, gap analysis, and One-Wesco engagement
• Represents Wesco in acquisitions, partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures
• Conducts rollout meetings at key and global accounts
• Leads local implementation teams and drives cost-savings initiatives across spend types
• Delivers internal and customer training on processes and account management
• Serves as liaison among suppliers, marketing services, and location operations

• 5 years of experience in financial analysis, sales, or negotiation (6+ years preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to initiate and develop relationships with key decision makers
• Ability to analyze financial and operational data and identify opportunities
• Ability to travel 50%-75%
