Restructuring & Special Situations Finance Associate Attorney

In this role you will handle complex domestic and cross-border restructuring matters and distressed financings within a top-tier AmLaw firm. You'll work with creditors, debtors, and sponsors to advance strategic solutions in and out of court, shaping high-stakes transactions. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge restructuring work, with a collaborative, client-focused team. • Represent clients in complex restructuring and insolvency matters, in-court and out-of-court
• Advise creditors, debtors, and investors in distressed and special situations financings
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, restructuring support agreements, and related transaction documents
• Support liability management transactions, recapitalizations, and distressed M&A opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, corporate, and litigation attorneys

• JD from a top-tier law school, active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing
• 3-7 years of substantive experience in restructuring, bankruptcy, and/or special situations finance transactions
• Familiarity with Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, and liability management transactions
• Experience representing creditors, debtors, sponsors, or financial institutions in distressed scenarios
• Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Large law firm experience preferred
