Business Risk Consultant

In this sales-focused role, you pursue and close commercial insurance opportunities, building new business from databases and prospects. You'll work with marketing to submit proposals, manage renewals, and maintain a robust pipeline to support growth. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored coverages and solutions, while representing Univest in the community. This position offers commission-based earnings and a path to develop expertise in commercial lines within a values-driven, inclusive culture.

• Pursue and close sales targets from the annual producer sales plan
• Prospect for new business and set sales appointments
• Gather detailed risk and underwriting information from prospects
• Deliver formal insurance proposals with coverage details and terms
• Collaborate with marketing on submissions and stay informed on claims and service issues
• Participate in renewals and prepare renewal submissions
• Maintain sales pipeline and weekly activity reports
• Promote Univest in the community
• Stay informed on industry developments and carrier trainings
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Proven ability to pursue and close sales
• Three plus years' experience in commercial sales preferred
• College graduate preferred
• Knowledge of insurance products or ability to learn
• Compliance with applicable laws and Univest Code of Conduct
