Senior Finance Manager

In this role you will act as a strategic finance partner, leading forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to enable data-driven decisions across a hardware-driven organization. You will collaborate closely with the CFO and executives to translate financial data into actionable insights and support major strategic decisions with robust models. The role emphasizes hardware R&D lifecycle understanding, multi-year planning, and scalable processes to drive program profitability. You'll work across technical and operations teams to align resourcing with the company's long-term plan, making an impact in a fast-paced, defense-focused environment.

• Lead FP&A forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting for annual, quarterly, and monthly cycles with executive visibility
• Support board reporting, investor materials, and financial analyses for strategic decisions
• Model program costs, NRE, and capital expenditures in a hardware-first context
• Partner with functional teams to enable data-driven decision-making
• Contribute to scenario planning with dynamic financial models
• Mature FP&A processes and systems to support multi-year planning, automation, and profitability tracking
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to align near-term resourcing with long-term plans

• 6+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or related roles
• experience in defense, aerospace, or hardware-intensive companies preferred
• strong budgeting, forecasting, and scalable financial modeling
• ability to partner cross-functionally
• advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
• experience with Adaptive Insights and NetSuite or similar is a plus
