Manager, M&A Transaction Strategy (Finance CoE)

As a Manager in KPMG Strategy, you will lead and contribute to advisory engagements for corporate and private equity clients involved in significant transactions. You will collaborate with M&A Services and other KPMG teams to drive the finance and accounting workstreams across pre- and post-close phases. You will leverage your experience in F&A, financial reporting, and project leadership to deliver value and support business development. This role offers exposure to large, complex deals within a collaborative, growth-focused culture. You will help shape client outcomes by applying cross-functional expertise and strong analytical skills.

• Assist with selling and delivering engagements for corporate and private equity clients with significant transactions, focusing on finance & accounting operations
• Collaborate with M&A Services on F&A engagements and end-to-end activities across the client finance function
• Work with finance & accounting teams across multiple KPMG practice areas (financial due diligence, accounting advisory, tax, management consulting, enterprise systems, risk, treasury)
• Support client engagements for corporate and private equity groups during all deal lifecycle phases, with emphasis on operational F&A aspects

• Minimum five years in accounting and management consulting for corporate or private equity clients or equivalent experience in financial reporting and consolidations in a Fortune 500 environment
• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field; CPA or MBA a plus
• Significant hands-on M&A transaction experience across pre- to post-close operations; international deal experience desirable
• Proven project management, process analysis/redesign, financial systems, analytics, and financial modeling capability
• Strong experience with F&A sub-functions (O2C, P2P, R2R, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit)
• Willingness and ability to travel; authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future
