Building Engineer

The Building Engineer supports our hotel and guest rooms by maintaining reliable, safe, and efficient building operations. Working independently on assigned projects and reporting to the facilities manager, with a primary focus on HVAC, mechanical systems, plumbing and water systems, preventive maintenance, and building improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance in general areas and guest rooms.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Complete plumbing repairs and maintain plumbing and water systems.
• Respond to and track work orders through completion.
• Maintain compliance with applicable safety requirements.
• Coordinate routine vendors and support contractor activities.
• Lead assigned building improvement projects.
• resolve facility issues independently

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in building engineering.
• Experience with HVAC systems.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
