Work Environment

This full-time position allows for flexible remote work arrangements while delivering care through a community health clinic framework. Our mental health professionals take advantage of modern telehealth tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems to provide seamless support to clients. Working Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, you may occasionally need to adjust your schedule to accommodate patient needs, ensuring we meet the diverse demands of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that consider patients' unique cultural backgrounds and personal experiences, facilitating the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions through individual, family, and group therapy sessions that address a wide range of mental health concerns.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide coordinated care aimed at improving patient outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, remaining calm and composed while guiding patients through mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring the highest standard of care.
• Engage proactively in professional development through case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training to enhance service delivery.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices within the mental health field to inform clinical decision-making.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on serving a culturally diverse patient population, including ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants. You'll apply your skills to create a safe space for clients to express themselves while ensuring treatment plans reflect their unique cultural contexts and experiences, promoting greater engagement and therapeutic success.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.
• A strong foundation in mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment strategies, and cultural competence in therapeutic practices is required.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy in a culturally responsive manner.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, coupled with the ability to navigate high-stress situations with compassion and professionalism.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse individuals and families.
• Proficiency in using EHR systems and technological tools to enhance service delivery.
• A commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of relevant professional experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly within community health settings.
• Experience utilizing culturally informed therapeutic frameworks and approaches.
• Prior involvement in interdisciplinary teams collaborating to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
