Finance Transformation Manager, PMO, Accounting Transformation Group

In this Finance Transformation Analyst role, you drive automation initiatives to reduce manual work and strengthen financial controllership across Amazon's global accounting organization. You'll partner with Accounting, FinTech, and tax teams to design scalable, secure solutions and manage projects end-to-end. The position sits in Accounting Automation Services (AATS) within the Accounting Transformation Group (ATG) and emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and measurable impact. You'll shape processes for growth, oversee UAT and stakeholder engagement, and help elevate worldwide accounting operations.

• Own and manage end-to-end lifecycle activities for multiple projects (planning, requirements, partnerships, UAT, closure, stakeholder engagement)
• Define requirements, prioritize with partner teams, and design/launch scalable, reliable solutions
• Design scalable processes and procedures aligned with business growth and global dispersion
• Communicate new/updated programs to leaders and cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with system and business owners globally to ensure process excellence and strong controllership
• Negotiate efficient processes and policies across partner teams to reduce dependencies and defects
• Identify opportunities across process, technical, and human interfaces and implement plans to capitalize and measure impact

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
• 5+ years of finance, accounting, or related analytical experience
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to think strategically
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and delivering on strategic initiatives
• Prior experience in project management and finance systems
