Manager, Finance Systems & Oracle ERP

As Financial Systems Manager, you will help maintain and enhance the Oracle-based financial systems within STERIS Corporate Finance, supporting global projects and acquisitions to enable automated consolidation. You will collaborate with regional teams and Oracle BPOs to implement system changes, ensure compliant reporting, and harmonize processes across locations. The role combines system development, change management, and training to deliver robust financial controls. This is a hybrid on-site role at Mentor, OH, offering a path to drive global finance capabilities.

• Provide Tier 2 ERP Oracle support with US IT and Service Desk
• Support Oracle across all finance processes globally, including legacy and converted sites
• Research, develop, and implement Oracle configuration changes impacting accounting and consolidation
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and leverage emerging technologies
• Lead change management for all Oracle-financed processes across regions
• Evaluate, test, and implement ERP design changes in collaboration with BPOs
• Serve as key contributor in Oracle implementation for acquisitions (scope, testing, training)
• Design and develop financial documents and reports
• Manage Oracle security access and audit processes
• Coordinate testing and training for Oracle changes and new deployments

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; 13 years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
• Minimum 5 years related experience with degree
• Extensive experience managing financial systems in global, multi-ledger environments
• Strong hands-on Oracle E-Business Suite R12 experience, core finance and inventory modules
• Proven experience leading or supporting ERP implementations (requirements, design, testing, deployment, post-go-live)
• Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, standard costing, and inventory management
• Strong financial controls, compliance and audit knowledge (SOX or similar)
• Track record in process improvements, system standardization, training, and producing supporting materials
• Strong analytical, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage own workload; ability to coach/mentor staff
• Preferred: CPA, Oracle EBS R12 experience, basic SQL for data extraction
