Sr. Principal - M&A IT Application CMT - Business Consulting

In this role you drive IT applications strategy and execution for complex front- and back-office environments, including ERP and non-ERP systems. You lead multi-project programs, guide integration/separation during business transitions, and partner with senior clients to realize scalable, cost-efficient IT solutions. You'll shape roadmaps, mentor teams, and influence C-level stakeholders to enable transformative business outcomes.

• Provide strategic IT leadership across multiple IT Application projects aligned with business goals
• Develop and present roadmaps for IT applications with focus on standardization, efficiency, and cost savings
• Lead IT strategy during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring smooth separation or integration and synergies realization
• Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of ERP and non-ERP applications for front and back office
• Manage Day 1 and TSA exit planning; guide end-to-end separation/integration efforts
• Lead cross-functional testing (SIT/UAT) and end-to-end business process scenarios
• Coordinate data migration strategy, data mapping, extraction, transformation, and load; ensure reconciliation and signoff
• Engage senior clients, present updates and recommendations, and act as trusted advisor
• Mentor and develop project teams; manage budgets, timelines, and resources
• Develop and refine methodologies; contribute to thought leadership and practice development
• Support business development with proposal creation, risk assessments, and client relationship building

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 9+ years in IT applications management (ERP and non-ERP) with design/implementation experience
• Senior-level consulting or client-facing experience
• M&A experience required
• Deep knowledge of finance, commercial, supply chain, HR, and other functional areas
• ERP or major business application implementation experience
• Experience with application selection, rollout, and possible separation/integration in M&A
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven leadership and ability to build senior client relationships
• Ability to travel up to 100%
• US work authorization
• Desired certifications such as PMP or application-specific (SAP/Oracle/SFDC) are a plus
