Encompass Health seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to deliver evidence-based rehabilitative care in our inpatient hospital setting. In this role, you will evaluate functional limitations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to maximize independence in activities of daily living. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and document progress using EMR systems. Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and limitations using standardized assessments. Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve ADLs, mobility, and cognitive-perceptual skills. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team on care plans. Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, safety, and adaptive equipment use. Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and progress in EMR systems. Participate in discharge planning to ensure safe transitions of care. Maintain compliance with regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards.
