Ombudsman Educational Services seeks an Elementary School Teacher to support at-risk and nontraditional learners in a small, structured classroom. In this on-site role, you will plan and deliver standards-based lessons, adapt curriculum for diverse learning needs, and provide targeted academic and behavior support. You will monitor progress, collaborate with school districts and families, and help maintain a safe, supportive environment. Join a mission-driven team focused on personalized learning, credit-bearing instruction, and helping students reengage and succeed academically and socially. Plan and deliver standards-based instruction for elementary students in small-group settings. Differentiate and adapt curriculum to meet diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Implement effective classroom and behavior management strategies to maintain a safe, structured environment. Assess student learning, track progress, and provide ongoing feedback to students and families. Collaborate with school districts, support staff, and families to coordinate services and student goals. Support development and implementation of individualized learning plans and IEP goals as appropriate. Integrate educational technology and varied instructional strategies to engage learners. Contribute to a mission-driven, student-centered culture focused on reengagement and academic success.
