Chippenham Hospital, a leader in cardiac care and trauma services and part of the expansive HCA Virginia health network, is seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our advanced imaging team. This position plays a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services that are integral to our multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The ideal candidate will operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. With a strong focus on patient safety and quality of care, you will have the opportunity to work alongside top professionals in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest CT technology. Operate CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders and established practices. Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans, providing clear instructions and support throughout the procedure. Assist radiologists in the analysis and evaluation of imaging results, modifying protocol to optimize scan results as required. Maintain records of imaging procedures, outcomes, and diagnostic findings. Implement and adhere to health and safety standards to reduce exposure to radiation. Participate in continuous education to keep up-to-date with the latest industry standards and technological advancements. Proficiency in CT imaging techniques and protocols. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work meticulously. Excellent patient management and communication skills. Capability to troubleshoot technical issues with imaging equipment. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Valid state radiology license.
