Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Quality Engineer to support our vertically integrated manufacturing operations producing corrugated packaging, folding cartons, and paperboard solutions. In this on-site role, you will own quality systems on the plant floor, driving defect reduction, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include developing inspection plans, applying SPC and data analysis, leading root cause investigations, and implementing corrective actions. You will collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and design teams while championing a people-first, safety-focused, and environmentally responsible culture with strong long-term career growth potential. Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems for corrugated and paperboard packaging production Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues and customer complaints Lead process capability studies, SPC, and data-driven continuous improvement initiatives Create and update inspection plans, test methods, and quality documentation Audit production processes to ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and design teams to resolve quality problems Support customer trials, qualifications, and certifications for new products Train operators and technicians on quality standards, procedures, and best practices Monitor key quality metrics and report trends to plant and corporate leadership Support safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance within quality activities Quality engineering Statistical process control (SPC) Root cause analysis (5-Why, fishbone, etc.) Corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) ISO 9001 or similar QMS Data analysis and report writing Blueprints and technical specifications interpretation Measurement systems and inspection tools Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement Cross-functional collaboration and communication Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent continuous improvement training (preferred) Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar ASQ certification (preferred) Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems Familiarity with SPC, PPAP, FMEA, and root cause analysis tools Understanding of safety and environmental regulations in manufacturing5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
