ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Teacher to support students with behavioral and learning challenges. Deliver engaging instruction aligned with lesson plans and learning goals, adapt activities to students’ needs, and maintain a safe, structured classroom. Monitor academic and social progress, use positive behavioral supports, and document student performance. Collaborate with school staff, specialists, and families to promote continuity of care and learning. This on-site role offers the opportunity to contribute to student growth through evidence-based, compassionate practices in an interdisciplinary, mission-driven environment. Relevant teaching credentials or substitute authorization may be required based on district and state guidelines. Deliver instruction based on established lesson plans and learning objectives. Adapt classroom activities and instructional approaches to meet varied learning needs. Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment. Apply positive behavioral support strategies and respond appropriately to student needs. Monitor and document student academic, social, and behavioral progress. Coordinate with school staff, specialists, and families to support continuity of learning.
