Johnson Controls is seeking a Life Safety Systems Sales professional to drive revenue for our fire, security, and life safety solutions. In this role, you will prospect and manage key accounts, consult with building owners and facility managers, and develop technical, code-compliant proposals for integrated life safety systems. You will collaborate with engineering and operations teams, deliver presentations, prepare bids, and negotiate contracts while maintaining a strong focus on safety, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnerships. Develop and manage a sales pipeline for life safety, fire, and security systems Prospect, qualify, and close new B2B opportunities in target markets Consult with building owners, facility managers, and contractors to define requirements Prepare and deliver technical, code-compliant proposals and presentations Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on system design and delivery Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in line with company guidelines Use CRM tools to track activities, forecast sales, and report results Maintain strong product and code knowledge, including NFPA and local regulations Build and sustain long-term customer relationships and strategic accounts Meet or exceed assigned revenue, margin, and activity targets B2B sales Life safety systems knowledge Fire alarm and security systems Technical proposal writing CRM software Building codes and NFPA standards Solution selling Contract negotiation Sales forecasting Customer relationship management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k NICET Fire Alarm Certification (preferred) Sales or account management training (preferred) OSHA safety awareness training (a plus)5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
