City Year AmeriCorps Members serve full-time in public schools, providing academic and social-emotional support to help students thrive. In this role, you’ll tutor students in class and in small groups, mentor youth, assist teachers with classroom activities, and support school-wide initiatives. You’ll work closely with a diverse team, receive regular training and coaching, and build leadership and professional skills. City Year’s collaborative, inclusive culture centers on educational equity, social justice, and personal growth while making a direct impact in local schools.
