City Year AmeriCorps Members serve full-time in public schools, supporting students’ academic and social-emotional growth. As part of a diverse team, you’ll provide classroom support, small-group tutoring, and mentoring to help students stay on track to graduate. Working in the Nonprofit & Social Services sector within Community & Social Services, you’ll collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to deliver targeted interventions and enrichment activities. At City Year, you’ll join a collaborative, inclusive culture rooted in social justice, leadership development, and personal growth. Members receive ongoing training, coaching, and professional development while gaining hands-on experience in education and youth development. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in schools and communities, build strong teamwork skills, and prepare for future careers in education, social work, or public service.
