KinderCare is seeking an Assistant Teacher for Whitehall Elementary to support high-quality early childhood education. In this role, you’ll help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where every child can thrive. Working closely with a lead teacher, you’ll assist with instruction, supervision, and daily routines, reinforcing KinderCare’s inclusive, growth-focused culture. You’ll help implement age-appropriate activities, support social-emotional learning, and maintain strong communication with staff and families, while gaining valuable experience and opportunities for professional development. Assist lead teacher with daily classroom instruction and activities Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being at all times Support implementation of age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum Help maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families Reinforce positive behavior and social-emotional development Prepare learning materials and classroom supplies as needed Assist with arrival, dismissal, meals, and rest times Observe and report children’s progress and concerns to lead teacher Follow all KinderCare and school policies, including health and safety guidelines Classroom management Early childhood education practices Lesson implementation Child supervision Basic first aid Parent communication Activity planning Behavior management Safety and sanitation procedures Record keeping Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k CPR and First Aid Certification Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
