Amergis seeks a compassionate Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs in school-based settings. You will design and implement IEP-aligned instruction, adapt curriculum, collect data, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff. The role emphasizes compliance, documentation, and evidence-based practices while fostering inclusion, independence, and social-emotional growth. Implement positive behavior support and classroom management strategies. Collaborate with related service providers, school staff, and Amergis clinical team. Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and reports. Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary consultations. Use assistive technology and evidence-based interventions to support access to learning. Promote inclusive practices, social-emotional development, and student independence.
