Carle Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist for a PRN hospitalist role in Urbana, Illinois. Join an established gastroenterology team, share call and inpatient rounding with support from advanced practice providers, and have access to outpatient procedures, interventional GI services, clinical trials, and academic or research affiliations. Provide inpatient gastroenterology care as a hospitalist. Share call responsibilities with other GI Hospitalists. Round on inpatients with support from advanced practice providers. Perform outpatient procedures in the Digestive Health Center. Collaborate with gastroenterologists, APPs, nursing staff, and interventional GI specialists. Participate in clinical trials or academic and research affiliations as appropriate.
