Join Encompass Health as a Therapy Team Leader in our Healthcare & Medical Services department. You will coordinate and lead an interdisciplinary therapy team (PT, OT, SLP) in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, ensuring evidence-based, patient‑centered care. Responsibilities include overseeing caseloads, mentoring therapists, collaborating with nursing and physicians, monitoring quality and outcomes, and supporting safe, timely discharges. Lead and coordinate an interdisciplinary therapy team in an inpatient rehab setting Oversee and manage therapy caseloads and daily staffing Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and case management on patient care plans Ensure delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered rehabilitation services Monitor clinical quality, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance Mentor and support therapists and assistants in clinical practice Participate in discharge planning and family education to optimize outcomes Track functional outcomes and contribute to performance improvement initiatives Assist with orientation and training of new therapy staff Promote a safe, nurturing, and professional work environment Inpatient rehabilitation treatment planning Interdisciplinary team leadership Physical/occupational/speech therapy care coordination Clinical documentation in EMR Knowledge of Medicare and rehab regulations Outcome measurement and data tracking Discharge planning and patient/family education Time and caseload management Staff mentoring and coaching Quality improvement in clinical settings Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active state license as PT, OT, or SLP Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Prior charge or lead therapist experience preferred ACRM or rehab-related certification preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
