ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education seeks a Special Education Teacher to deliver individualized, research-based instruction for children and young adults with diverse learning needs. In this role, you will develop and implement IEPs, use data-driven decision-making, and collaborate closely with behavior therapists, related service providers, and families. Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs and goals Deliver differentiated instruction using research-based special education strategies Assess student progress, collect data, and adjust interventions accordingly Collaborate with therapists, behavior analysts, and school staff to coordinate services Engage and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student growth Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Participate in professional development and continuous learning initiatives Individualized Education Program (IEP) development Special education instructional strategies Behavior management and PBIS Data collection and progress monitoring Differentiated instruction Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Assistive technology for learning Curriculum adaptation and modification Parent and caregiver communication Documentation and compliance reporting Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state Special Education teaching credential or license Certification in Special Education (e.g., Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe, as applicable) Familiarity with IDEA and special education compliance requirements CPR/First Aid certification preferred Background in behavior management or ABA principles preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
