Sittercity seeks a reliable Toddler and Pet Sitter to support a family three days a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays). You’ll provide attentive in-home care for a curious toddler—leading engaging play, simple learning activities, and outdoor time—while following established routines for meals, naps, and safety. You’ll also handle light pet care, such as feeding and brief walks or play. Clear communication with parents, respect for house rules, and a calm, nurturing approach are essential as you help create a safe, happy environment for both child and pets. Provide attentive in-home care for a toddler on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays Plan age-appropriate play, learning activities, and outdoor time Prepare simple snacks and meals following parent guidelines Diaper changes, potty support, and nap routines Monitor and care for household pets, including feeding and brief walks or play Maintain a safe, clean, and child-proof environment Communicate daily updates to parents via app or text Follow family schedules, routines, and house rules Respond calmly and appropriately to minor emergencies or conflicts Coordinate with Sittercity tools for scheduling and messaging Childcare for toddlers Basic pet care First aid and safety awareness Meal and snack preparation Diapering and potty training support Behavior management Time and routine management Household tidiness and light clean-up Parent communication Use of caregiver apps/tools Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification preferred Background check eligibility References from prior childcare or pet care roles5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
