Sittercity is seeking a reliable sitter to provide in-home care for five children ranging from preschool to middle school age. In this role, you’ll create a safe, engaging environment, supervise daily activities, and support routines that keep everyone on track. Responsibilities include overseeing play, planning age-appropriate activities, assisting with homework, and preparing simple snacks or light meals. You’ll communicate clearly with parents about schedules, behaviors, and any concerns, while following household rules and safety guidelines to ensure trusted, consistent care for the family. Provide attentive, in-home care for five children from preschool to middle school ages. Ensure a safe, structured, and positive environment at all times. Plan and engage children in age-appropriate, screen-light activities. Assist with homework, reading, and basic school-related tasks. Prepare simple snacks and light meals as needed. Manage routines such as playtime, quiet time, and bedtime (if applicable). Support positive behavior and resolve minor conflicts calmly. Communicate clearly with parents about schedules, activities, and any concerns. Follow household rules and any specific care instructions or allergies.
