Lee Company is seeking a skilled Construction Pipefitter to install, assemble, and test commercial and industrial piping systems on projects across the Southeast. In this field-based role, you will read blueprints and isometric drawings, cut and install various pipe materials, and ensure systems meet code, quality, and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping schematics Cut, thread, weld, and install pipe systems for mechanical and plumbing applications Assemble, install, and secure pipe supports, valves, and fittings to specifications Test piping systems for leaks, pressure, and proper operation following safety standards Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to meet project schedules Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas according to company safety policies Follow OSHA and company safety protocols, including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures Assist in layout, measurement, and material take-offs for projects Troubleshoot and repair existing commercial and industrial piping systems Train or mentor junior team members in proper installation and safety practices Pipe installation (carbon steel, copper, PVC, CPVC, stainless) Blueprint and isometric drawing reading Threading, grooving, cutting, and brazing Basic welding for piping systems Use of hand and power tools for pipefitting Knowledge of mechanical and plumbing codes Hydrostatic and pressure testing of piping systems Rigging and material handling Use of laser levels and measurement tools Safety procedures and OSHA regulations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction Safety Certification preferred Valid state plumbing or pipefitter license or registration preferred NCCER Pipefitting or equivalent trade certification a plus Certified in brazing and/or pipe welding (ASME or equivalent) preferred Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
