GreenState Credit Union is seeking a Bilingual Member Service Associate to support our diverse membership with exceptional, member-focused service. In this frontline role, you will assist members in English and a second language with everyday banking needs, including opening accounts, processing transactions, and answering questions about products and digital services. You will actively listen to understand members’ financial goals, provide solutions or referrals, and ensure accurate, compliant documentation. Working in a collaborative, community-driven environment, you’ll help improve members’ financial well-being while growing your skills and career. Provide bilingual assistance to members via in-person, phone, and digital channels. Open, maintain, and service deposit and savings accounts. Process transactions accurately, including payments, transfers, and withdrawals. Educate members on GreenState products, services, and digital tools. Support loan applications by gathering information and guiding members. Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and security procedures. Identify member needs and refer appropriate financial solutions. Resolve member issues with professionalism and timely follow-up. Document interactions and maintain accurate member records. Contribute to branch and community initiatives that support member financial wellness. Bilingual communication (English/Spanish or similar) Customer service in banking/credit union Cash handling and drawer balancing Opening and servicing accounts Consumer loan processing support Knowledge of financial products and services CRM and core banking systems Regulatory and compliance awareness (e.g., KYC) Problem resolution and de-escalation Data entry and documentation accuracy Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Bilingual fluency in English and a second language (e.g., Spanish) Customer service or banking certifications preferred (e.g., ABA or CUNA training)5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
