Global Compression Services LLC seeks an Ignition and Automation Sales Rep to grow sales of ignition, controls, and automation solutions for natural gas compression customers. You will prospect and manage accounts in the mining, quarrying, and oil & gas extraction space, conduct onsite visits, and translate technical needs into complete solutions. Partnering closely with field service and shop teams, you’ll scope projects, prepare quotes, and support installations. This role fits a safety-minded, technically inclined salesperson who thrives in the field and values long-term customer relationships. Develop and manage a sales pipeline for ignition and automation solutions in oil and gas compression applications Identify customer needs and propose technical solutions for ignition, controls, and automation systems Conduct onsite customer visits to assess equipment, gather requirements, and build relationships Collaborate with field service and shop teams to scope projects and prepare accurate quotes Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to midstream and industrial customers Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts within company guidelines Track opportunities, quotes, and activities in CRM and report on sales performance Stay current on natural gas compression technology, controls, and safety standards Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of solutions Support post-sale follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional opportunities Technical sales Industrial automation Ignition/controls systems Natural gas compression knowledge Customer relationship management CRM software Technical quoting and proposal writing Reading P&IDs and electrical schematics Negotiation Presentation and communication Valid driver’s license and clean driving record OSHA safety training or equivalent (preferred) Technical training or certification in industrial automation, controls, or instrumentation (preferred)5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
