Schwartz Brothers Restaurants seeks a Food Safety Quality Technician to support our bakery and restaurant operations. In this role, you will perform routine quality and food safety checks, conduct product and environmental testing, verify HACCP and sanitation procedures, and accurately document results. You’ll collaborate with production, bakery, and culinary teams to investigate nonconformances, support corrective actions, and maintain regulatory and customer standards. This position is ideal for detail-oriented, hands-on professionals who value teamwork, learning, and consistent, high-quality food experiences. Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process, and finished products Perform environmental and product testing following food safety standards Verify HACCP, SSOPs, and sanitation procedures on production lines Document test results and maintain accurate quality and compliance records Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions for nonconformances Support regulatory, customer, and third-party food safety audits Calibrate and maintain quality and testing equipment Communicate quality issues clearly to production, bakery, and culinary teams Help train production staff on basic quality and food safety practices Contribute to continuous improvement of food safety and quality programs Food safety testing Quality control in food production HACCP principles GMP and sanitation practices Microbiology basics Data entry and documentation Sampling procedures Root cause analysis support Use of lab/testing equipment Regulatory and audit awareness Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k HACCP certification (or obtained within 6–12 months) preferred PCQI or food safety coursework a plus ServSafe or equivalent food handler/manager certification preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386 read more
