Provide individualized occupational therapy to adult and geriatric inpatients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery. Assess functional abilities, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to help patients regain independence and meet recovery goals. Assess patients’ functional abilities and rehabilitation needs. Develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans and goals. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills and independence. Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other care team members. Document evaluations, interventions, and patient outcomes.
