The H&K Group seeks a Site Foreperson/Superintendent to lead daily field operations on heavy civil and site construction projects. This role coordinates crews, subcontractors, and equipment to safely deliver high-quality work on schedule and within specifications. Responsibilities include planning work sequences, enforcing safety and quality standards, reading and interpreting plans, tracking production, and reporting progress. The Foreperson/Superintendent partners closely with project managers, mentors field staff, and supports a family-oriented culture focused on integrity, teamwork, and long-term career growth across diverse Mid-Atlantic projects. Lead and supervise field crews on site and heavy civil construction projects Plan daily work activities, resources, and sequencing to meet schedules Enforce company and regulatory safety standards and conduct toolbox talks Interpret plans, specs, and stakeout to ensure work meets design requirements Coordinate subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries Monitor productivity, quality, and costs; report progress to project management Inspect work for compliance with quality standards and project specifications Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and owners’ representatives Train and mentor crew members to build skills and support career growth Maintain daily reports, logs, and documentation of site activities and issues Construction site supervision Crew leadership OSHA safety practices Reading plans and specifications Heavy equipment coordination Project scheduling and sequencing Quality control inspection Daily reporting and documentation Subcontractor coordination Survey layout interpretation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k OSHA 10 or 30-hour Construction Safety Certification Valid driver’s license with clean driving record First Aid/CPR certification preferred Heavy civil/site construction supervisory experience Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
