KinderCare is seeking Assistant Teachers for our Elmhurst KinderCare center. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where young children can explore, learn, and grow. You will help implement age-appropriate activities, supervise children, and maintain a clean, organized environment. Assistant Teachers build positive relationships with children, families, and staff while following health, safety, and licensing standards. Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and learning centers. Supervise children to ensure a safe, nurturing environment. Support implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and play-based learning. Help with classroom preparation, organization, and clean-up. Communicate positively with children, families, and staff. Follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines. Assist with observation and documentation of children’s progress. Participate in training and professional development as required.
