Bellingham Technical College seeks a Student Representative for Tenure Committees to provide a student voice in faculty evaluation. The representative will review instructor materials, observe teaching when appropriate, and participate in tenure committee meetings. Duties include preparing thoughtful feedback on teaching effectiveness, equity-minded practices, and student learning, as well as upholding confidentiality and college policies. This role supports a collaborative, inclusive campus culture and offers insight into governance, professional conduct, and decision-making in technical and career-focused education.
